Sometimes in life one has to stop and look around at what is going on and wonder at the sanity of reality. What I mean is that for some, Good is Bad and Bad is Good. How can we decipher what is Truth when we have both sides mirroring each other while struggling to control the narrative? Success is gauged by how loudly we can scream at the other side, not by merit alone. I hope and pray this is not the new normal.
The fact that YouTube is censoring conservative voices is well founded in extensive documented proof. In fact, they are being sued by countless organizations and individuals for loss of liberty and constitutional rights by the part of the social media giant. The truth will finally reveal itself once the dust settles on the conclusion of these countless lawsuits. While YouTube may view itself as untouchable, the scales of justice weigh heavy in the individuals’ and organizations’ favors. YouTube has repeatedly denied the censorship of conservatives—even ramping up censoring efforts on conservatives after lying to Congress about their actions. Yet the internet won’t let them hide their crimes from the public. The censored individuals have posted proof of their wrongdoing on social media platforms for all to see.
Prager University has decided to be loud and proud in its fight against YouTube censorship. They hired a roving billboard truck with large screens that blast out the banned and censored videos PragerU had originally produced for YouTube. They stated in their lawsuit:
“…Google’s YouTube subsidiary has unfairly censored PragerU videos because of their conservative content” (Fox News Live, James Rogers, Oct 24, 2019)
PragerU is a conservative producer that pushes out the kind of in-your-face content conservatives crave. They fill a certain niche, with discussions about depravity, homosexuality, privacy, Christian education, and stories protesting issues like drag-show-story-time.
The story is amusing yet blaring in its context: conservatives stealing from the liberal handbook to use it against the progressive left. As their lawsuit is set to begin, it highlights the beginning of the end for YouTube’s policy of unchecked political bias. The story by James Rogers brings to light an attempt to regain and reclaim our constitutional rights granted to every red-blooded American. YouTube has no right to take that away and we will see who wins in court. This is about to get interesting.
